Trentino InnovationFondazione HIT at Meet in Italy for Life Sciences

Fondazione Hub Innovazione Trentino (HIT) is a co-organizer of Meet in Italy for Life Sciences, the national event promoted by ALISEI that brings together businesses, institutions, researchers, and technology transfer professionals from Italy and abroad. The event offers an opportunity to highlight Trentino’s research and innovation ecosystem and build new collaborations along the path from the lab to patient care.
From research to market: Trentino’s contribution
On October 13 at 5:00 p.m., we will take part in the session “From lab to market in Trentino: research excellence, industrial partnerships and opportunities for life science startups”. We will discuss HIT’s work to advance research valorization in life sciences, connecting our scientific founding members with potential partners in Italy and internationally.
Trentino’s research excellence and the connections between scientific expertise, infrastructure, businesses, and communities provide a strong foundation for new initiatives. Our role is to strengthen these ties within and beyond the region, creating opportunities to develop and apply technologies and turn research outcomes into tangible benefits for society.
COSBI and Trentino Sviluppo will also contribute to the session. COSBI will discuss computational and translational biology, while Trentino Sviluppo will present the future Life Sciences Hub in Rovereto, which will help connect industry with the knowledge and expertise developed in this field.
A focus on new entrepreneurial ventures
On October 14, the focus will shift to entrepreneurial ventures that translate research into innovative life sciences solutions. Brightmol Biotech and Fraido, two startups founded in Trentino, will have the opportunity to present their technologies and solutions to investors and companies interested in exploring ways to support their development.
