The UX Challenge is a programme dedicated to developing human-centred digital solutions. Companies and organisations propose real-world challenges: designing an app, optimising a digital service, or improving the user experience of a product. Students work in teams, supported by mentors and directly involving end users throughout the process. An opportunity to apply their skills to real projects and gain valuable experience in a professional environment.

What is User Experience (UX)?

User Experience (UX) refers to how a person experiences a product or service when interacting with it. Good UX design aims to make this experience simple, intuitive and satisfying. It starts with understanding people’s needs, observing their behaviour and involving potential users in the design and testing process to identify what works and what could be improved.

Would you like to participate as a tester?

You can contribute to the UX Challenge as a tester, even without any UX expertise. Try out the solutions developed by the teams and assess their effectiveness and ease of use. Your feedback will help improve them.

Format validated by the European Commission

The UX Challenge format was validated by the European Commission as part of the 200SMEchallenge project under the H2020-INNOSUP-2018-2020 programme. Through the POSITIVE project, we adapted its methodology to social innovation, creating the POSITIVE Impact Challenge, implemented in Italy, Germany and Lithuania.
