The collaboration between research agencies and companies allows us to manage excellent projects and nurture relationships with top-level partners, transferring important economic resources and know-how on the territory. For this reason, we believe it is essential to continue investing in further collaborations, projects and synergies with international networks.

European Networks

In the context of the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC) created by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), HIT operates as a unitary representation of the Trentino research ecosystem, promoting the scientific and innovation skills of the territory within the different opportunities generated by these networks, each focused on social and global challenges. Discover the European projects HIT is currently involved in, as well as the ones it has carried out in recent years.

EIT Digital
One of the leading organizations for digital innovation and entrepreneurship education driving Europe’s digital transformation.
EIT Climate-KIC
This community was created to spread knowledge and promote innovation in the climate change challenge, encouraging the development and creation of a new sustainable society.
EIT Food
This agri-food innovation institute aims to make the sector more sustainable and reliable by supporting research and new entrepreneurship.
EIT Manufacturing
This organization brings together all those involved in manufacturing in a European innovation ecosystem, to support and inspire competitive and sustainable production worldwide.
EIT Raw Materials
This raw materials consortium encourages sustainable competitiveness of the European minerals, metals and materials sector along the value chain, promoting innovation, education, and entrepreneurship.

Other international networks

Artificial Intelligence and Human Machine Interface (AI & HMI)
A partnership within the European Commission’s Smart Specialization Platform, to support the adoption of cybernetic systems enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI-driven HMI) to accelerate the innovation process of SMEs.
EUSALP
A strategy approved by the European Council and applied at a macro-regional level, which aims to provide opportunities to improve cooperation in the Alpine region and address the common challenges of this territory.
Vanguard Initiative
Vanguard Initiative was created to support European interregional cooperation.
ASTP – A world of knowledge transfer
ASTP is a non-profit organization committed to the transfer of knowledge between universities and industry.
SERN – Startup Europe Region Network
SERN is a European Commission initiative that creates links between ecosystems.
