Trentino Startup Valley is a system program jointly created by HIT and Trentino Sviluppo. This unique ecosystem provides startuppers, aspiring and new entrepreneurs with personalized coaching, financial support, workspaces, dedicated networks, and access to specialist consultants, investors and business angels. 

The program has a total duration of 36 months and is divided into three phases – Bootstrap, Validation, and Go-to-market.

Bootstrap & Validation

Bootstrap & Validation is the main program offered by Trentino Startup Valley. This 12-month course is divided into two phases, focused on the growth and validation of highly innovative business ideas. The goal is to test the most solid business ideas, and support startup teams in the initial setup phase. “Bootstrap & Validation” offers classroom training sessions on entrepreneurship issues, personalized coaching, financial support, workspaces, and dedicated networks, as well as access to specialist consultants, investors and business angels. The third phase of the program, the “Go-to-market” phase, coordinated by Trentino Sviluppo, helps mature startups that need financial and managerial support complete the industrialization and market entry phases.

Start-Up Lab is a workshop offered by the University of Trento and CLab Trento, in collaboration with HIT, allowing those who study or carry out research in different fields to collaborate in the actual development of an innovative project in the form of a business game, creating teams around business ideas. The program is carried out in English and lasts 3 months, with the goal to increase the entrepreneurial skills of those who aspire to start a business (individuals or in teams). This project-based educational approach follows all stages of business idea development, from validation to pitch. The path ends with Demo Day, the final day with the presentation of projects in front of a jury made up of potential investors.

Business Design is a new training program in Italian for those who already have their own business idea, but need to acquire business skills and want to clarify doubts about feasibility. Open to anyone with a business technology project, the program is offered by the University of Trento CLab in collaboration with HIT. It provides supervised training and offers participants the right tools to self-assess the value of their idea.
