Ready, set, go! E-Mining@School at start
02 May 2018

The project has been created by HIT, FBK, UniTn and 10 international partners and it’s funded by the EIT KIC Raw Materials.
The aim of the project is to raise awareness among more than 1000 students and citizens about the e-waste, the business opportunities linked to this problem and to circular economy.
To achieve this objective, experts and researchers are going to teach the value of raw materials in the schools and how to create a collection campaign, they are also going to guide the students in waste collection centers visits.
With the support of local institutions, Italian, Spanish, Irish, Belgian and Swedish students are going to compete in the organization of collection and awareness campaigns: the class with the best results is going to win a European tour to meet circular economy experts
The official beginning of the project has taken place with the kick-off meeting: on the 8th and the 9th of May all the partners met in Bruxelles for the first time.
They worked together during ad intense codesign session, setting a plan for future activities.
Now E-Mining@School is officially started.
