On behalf of its scientific founders, HIT participates in relevant Italian and European networks in the field of technology transfer and research & innovation, providing a common systemic hub for our regional research system.
Five National Technology Clusters (CTNs) – promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research
Smart Living Technologies. The cluster aims to support, with the help of the scientific and technological excellence, the companies that operate in the sector of Life Technologies.
Fabbrica Intelligente. The cluster aims to consolidate and increment the national competitive advantages and, in the meantime, to orient the transformation of the Italian Manufacturing sector towards new products systems, trough innovation and technology.
Cluster Agrifood Nazionale (CLAN). The cluster aims to promote, within the agro-food chains, sustainable economic growth, based on research and innovation in the industry and acting as partner for Italian and European Institutions.
SmartCommunitiesTech. The Cluster SmartCommunitiesTech is a national network of research, industry and public administration actors that collaborate to offer solutions such as mobility, energy and environmental sustainability, education and government.
Cluster Energia. The cluster aims to combine the demand for innovation from the industrial sector with the supply of innovation from the research structures, to support the achievement of the targets from the SET-Plan, from the SEN , from the PNR, from the Smart Specialization Strategy and from the Industry 4.0 plan.
Cluster Spring. The cluster creates an ecosystem for the development of the entire green chemistry chain in order to foster at a new economy (bioeconomy). Research and development are key for Bioeconomy to reconvert industrial processes or the use of by products of agriculture and industry.
European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) – Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs)
EIT Digital. A leading European digital innovation and entrepreneurial education organisation driving Europe’s digital transformation.
EIT RawMaterials. An initiative to increase the competitiveness, growth and attractiveness of the European commodity sector through radical innovation and led entrepreneurship.
EIT Climate. An initiative to integrate education, entrepreneurship and innovation resulting in connected, creative transformation of knowledge and ideas into economically viable products or services that help to mitigate climate change.
EIT Food. The European leading food innovation initiative, working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted. The support to applied research and new entrepreneurship is one of the key elements.
EIT Manufacturing. brings European manufacturing actors together in innovation ecosystems that add unique value to European products, processes, services – and inspire the creation of globally competitive and sustainable manufacturing.
Others Networks of Innovation
EUSALP. An Alpine Macro-regional Strategy to improve cooperation between Alpine states, as well as to identify common goals and to implement them more effectively through a collaboration at European, national and regional level.
Vanguard Initiative. An European pilot initiative involved in facilitating the creation of opportunities for inter-regional cooperation between businesses in the major industrial sectors of their respective Smart Specialization Strategies.
Netval. Netval is the Italian association for the valorisation of results from public research. Netval’s mission is to allow Technology Transfer bodies to share experiences and learn together how to better transfer their research results to industry.
