The project

The consortium works to develop an action plan that will act as an engine for the modernization of educational practices to ensure the integration of sustainable development principles into the educational programs of ESEE universities, strengthen skills and increase the capacity of RM graduates and practitioners.

The proposal is part of the strategic objectives of RIS ESEE for the transfer of good practices and know-how of the KICs on the integration of the knowledge triangle (KTI) in terms of involving local actors and other actors of the KICs and by mobilizing, connecting and internationalizing national / regional networks, thereby ultimately increasing the impact of the EIT RM community at the European level.

The activities planned in order to achieve the objectives are: (a) the construction of a dynamic and self-sufficient network between industry, academia, researchers and professionals in the RM sector; (b) the evaluation of the existing educational programs of the beneficiary universities; (c) analysis of the needs and perspectives of stakeholders in the RM network, policy makers and NGOs; (d) identification of areas that need improvement; (e) proposal of a road map for the modernization of the educational programs of the beneficiary universities which could then be transferred as Best practice to other Universities of the ESEE Region; f) organization of pilot activities for the implementation of the new proposals.
