He holds a Bachelor in Communication Sciences and a Master in Advertising and Business Communication. For several years he has been active in Brussels, where he has carried out very important representative tasks in the field of research, innovation, telecommunications and ICT. He has a strong experience in regional contexts, having represented in Europe realities such as Regione Lombardia and Regione Lazio. From 2013 to July 2021 he has been Counselor for Digital, Telecommunications and Information Society, Cyber issues, Audiovisual and Postal Services of the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union. Among other things, he followed on behalf of the Italian Government very complex and strategic dossiers in areas such as: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, 5G, high performance computing (HPC), quantum communication infrastructure (QCI), blockchain, connected and automated driving, digitalization and innovation of public administration, European Digital Innovation Hubs, data strategies and related infrastructure, privacy.
