After graduating with honours in International Relations & Economics at the University of Bologna, he spent almost 7 years in Brussels directly working with and within the European Institutions.
He has a wide national and European experience in Research and Innovation Policies and projects, as well as in Technology Transfer activities and Project Management, representing relevant Business Associations, Universities and Research Centres in Brussels.


He worked at the European Union’s Delegation of two among the most relevant European Regions (Lombardia and Veneto), gaining a wide experience in European R&I policies and lobbying. Throughout his career, he has also been involved in several EU and International Projects (FP7, H2020, Cosme, EIT) & Network, such as IEEE Smart Cities, EARTO, ERRIN, EERA, EARMA, EIPs, EIT’s KICs, European Cluster Alliance, JTIs, NEREUS, PPPs.
