OEP: Open Education Platform
07 March 2018

Within the Unify IoT Project, HIT continues in the discussion about methodologies and systems for Education.
Together with the project partners, HIT launched the first version of the Open Education Platform (OEP), which proposes a comprehensive, coherent and standardized education offer on IoT. The user can provide a course or take one, recommend a a book, look for an event and much more. For instance, it is possible to use the search engine for exploring OEP database or browse among resource categories to sort contents, rate the resource and leave a comment.
In case the resources needed were absent, it is possible to ask for help on OEP Marketplace. In order to share a specific issue, it is advisable to launch a OEP Challenges and Testbeds and let OEP community find the most suitable solution according to one’s needs.
If the user could not find the lesson he was looking for or knows an essential IoT-related topic which is not addressed among the courses available, he can let OEP know and the platform will identify the organizations, teachers and trainers able to provide him with adapted resources.
The entrepreneurs who are willing to explore new grounds and improve their proof of concept, or developed a solution and want to assess its field of applications, can put their innovation between the hands of the IoT community and reinforce its value through co-creation.
