The countdown for the international event on the Digital Industry is started!

All is ready for the event on the frontiers of the Digital Industry, organized by Hub Innovazione Trentino, on September 12th in Rovereto, in the conference room of Trentino Sviluppo in via Zeni 8.

The Alpine Forum on Smart Industry will be an opportunity to study together with protagonists and experts in the sector, the different lines of action on the issues of digitalisation processes underway in the panorama of the regions of the Alpine arc, with particular reference to small and medium companies.
The meeting is promoted by Hub Innovazione Trentino in the framework of the EUSALP macro-regional strategy, which brings together 48 regions and 7 countries in the Alpine arc, with the aim of promoting sustainable energy and natural and cultural resource management; strengthen cooperation between members and thus develop a more profitable and functional social, economic and territorial cohesion.

We recall that within the EUSALP project there are 9 action groups in the field that deal with developing different strategic sectors. HIT, within the Action Group 2, coordinates the thematic group on the Digital Industry, particularly dedicated to the study of strategies aimed at the development of the industry sector 4.0, according to a macro-regional perspective and with particular attention to opportunities for SMEs.

The scheduled event will be developed in three sections. We will start at 9.30 am with “Eusalp and Digital Europe: opportunities for digital development in the Alpine region“, which will see speeches by Luca Mion, Head of Innovation and HIT market, as well as those of Roberto Sandrini, Project manager for the project ” Smart Space “at the Venice Chamber of Commerce Rovigo and Marta Calderaro, Horizon 2020 national Contact Point for” Digital Europe “. We will continue with the contributes of three companies in the Alpine area that will talk about the advantages that digital transformation brings with it. And finally, during the round table moderated by Barbara Ganz – journalist and blogger of Il Sole24Ore and expert on innovation – the comparison with the participants will continue, which will help to draw a summary of the topics analyzed in the morning.
