UX Challenge for companies
Improve the value proposition and usability of your digital products on the basis of sound tests with users. Collect ideas for innovation and mockups for redesign.
The Challenge took place from 27 February 2023 to 3 March 2023
What is the UX Challenge?
A five day Design Sprint during which you will analize, evaluate and re-design the User eXperience of digital products and services brought by companies from Trentino. Students and young professionals will form groups and work with UX expert mentors to improve the capability of apps and software to meet users’ needs and expectations.
How does it work?
Each team of solvers will be assigned one digital product/service to work on. Over the two days, teams will utilize user reasearch and UX design techniques, also involving selected end users via the Smartcrowds.net channel. After having understood products’s value proposition, teams will first focus on its pain points; after that they will explore unserved needs; they will then identify suggestion for improvement of the usability, and design new interface mockups.
Why should my company participate?
Testing concepts and prototypes with end users allows you to develop successful digital products and services, with lower costs, and have satisfied customers. The output of the challenge will be a slide deck that will highlight pain points and usability problems of the AS-IS, suggestions for improvement, new scenarios and interface mockups.
Which companies can participate?
The 2023 edition is open to companies with products and services in which digital interaction is relevant, such as: mobile applications, interactive webpages and websites, digital control interfaces for domotic systems, control interfaces for industrial machinery, and the like; digital products or services already on the market or in the prototype phase.
