In Tallinn, the third workshop of the European Innochallenge project

With the coordination of HIT, it took place on 11 December in Tallinn (Estonia), at the Mektory innovation center of TalTech, the technological university of the Estonian capital, the third workshop of the H2020 Innochallenge project.

25 representatives of universities, startup incubators and innovation agencies from Estonia took part, as well as Bussiness Oulu (FI), another project partner.
Aim of the workshop was to share with participants sucessful practices of open innovation initiatives between research and companies that adopt the format of innovation challenges.

The challenges realized by Tallinn and Oulu are characterized by a particular focus on design, on the innovation of digital services participated with users and citizens, and on aspects of prototyping and testing in real environments. Among the innovation challenges presented there are also the UX challenge and the PROTO challenge of HIT, recently concluded. Innochallenge is a coordination and support action of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
Coordinated by HIT, it will last until April 2019.
