Applications open for the MediTech Challenge: deadline extended

Applications are now open for the first edition of the MediTech Challenge, a joint initiative of the University of Trento and the Provincial Company for Health Services of the Autonomous Province of Trento, in collaboration with Fondazione Hub Innovazione Trentino (HIT). The challenge aims to generate technological solutions for technical issues in the field of vascular surgery.

The Challenge

Over 12 weeks, teams of master and PhD students, young researchers from the University of Trento, and resident physicians from various regions of Italy will collaborate on developing technological solutions for challenges in the field of vascular surgery.

Moreover, the initiative will involve companies specialized in the development and commercialization of technologies and products essential in the practice of vascular surgery. Each team will receive guidance from University of Trento researchers and professors specializing in relevant technologies and scientific disciplines.

The Meditech Challenge – Vascular Surgery will take place from February to May 2023. The final event will award the winning team, with each member receiving a cash prize of €500.00.
